ANGELINA SCALA Angelina Scala, a long time resident of Yonkers, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2015 after a 4 year battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Vittorio Scala, her children: Michael (Michele) Scala, John (Maria) Scala, Victor Scala, Ann Marie (John) Cavanaugh and Christine (John) Gallucci. Her 10 Grandchildren: John, Stephanie, Anthony, Victor, Ashley, Andrea, Michael, Nicholas, John Patrick and Emily. Her 4 Furry Grandchildren: Lucy, Peanut, Ruby and Brooklyn. She is also survived by her siblings: Frank and Anthony Attardi, Michelina DeMonte and Rosa Merz plus many nieces and nephews. Angelina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be forever missed. She was born in Procida, Naples, Italy on October 2, 1935 and years later met her husband and moved to the United States in 1956. They resided in Brooklyn until 1969 and then moved to Yonkers, New York. She will always be remembered for her amazing Italian cooking and for being the heart and soul of the Scala Family. Heaven gained a beautiful angel named Angelina. We will miss you every day of our lives. Viewing is at Sinatra Funeral Home at 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY on Sunday, December 20th from 2 – 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 21st at 10 am at Christ the King Church Yonkers, NY. Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery at 50 Jackson Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY
